You may already know that soybean oil makes horses coats soft and shiny, but that is just one of the many benefits of this versatile feed supplement.

We use a mechanical process that enables us to provide an all-natural product free from chemicals and no solvents are used to process.

EQUI-GLOSS has the Essential Fatty Acids (EFA) OMEGA 6, OMEGA 9 AND OMEGA 3 that horses need for complete natural diet.

University studies have shown that horses feed soy oil in their diet have higher reproductive rates, mares will milk better and have higher birth weights.

Joint inflammation is decreased with the feeding of OMEGA (EFA) fats and faster recovery from injuries and overall better health then horses it was not given to.

Recent study show, "Preventing recurrent episodes of rhabdomyolysis (TYING UP) involves decreasing the amount of soluble carbohydrates in the diet and adding an EFA fat supplement".

Fats and oils contain about 2.25 times as much energy as carbohydrates and are an excellent concentrated source of energy for high level performance horses.

Performance horses expend a great deal of energy during training and competition. Most of these horses are feed a high level of grain to help produce the extra energy. Feeding high levels of grain can cause founder, and colic or other problems for horses. A safer alternative has been to add EFA fats in place of high amounts of grain in the diets to provide tractable energy. EFA are digested easily and slowly metabolized and will not cause nervousness.
